If you need to play a game with a password, you can either find the password from the saved games directory and load it into the Compendium, or you can download the save that has the password saved and use the password to access the game.
The Compendium password is not saved in plain text, but it is saved to your game's config/credits.ini file. It is suggested that you backup this file whenever you perform a change of password in order to save any changes you make.
In order to use the Compendium to save an item (as well as view the item, see the value of the item, etc.), you must first unlock the Compendium. This is done by accessing it from the special menu that appears when you start the game, the only way you can access it is when you are playing a game with a save file in progress.
Writing down the new password is no longer required as of Pokemon X&Y. You can now just save the password for any item in the Compendium or choose to automatically save your new password, and the password will be updated.
Saved game data is often stored in a portable medium that will not be lost when the computer is destroyed. This sort of storage medium is much less permanent than the registry. Storage media such as CDs and hard drives are usually arranged so that the saved game data is stored on the storage medium itself. This is not quite as secure as storing data in the registry, because the registry key names are usually visible, while the names of the saved game files are not. Still, this sort of storage is commonly considered secure enough to be used in personal computer games.

I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
