This movie deals with a bunch of serious issues, all the while, containing adorable, funny moments. The characters are well-developed, funny, and authentic. It is actually believable for humans to turn into bears.
The animation of the bear is VERY cute.
The various scenes that are more relatable, such as Kenai's quest to find his brothers, also comes alive through the voice acting.
I think the point of the movie is that bears are not evil and are not out to kill people. They are as they should be, in the wild. It also highlights that everyone has a heart. I think this movie is a good choice to show to children who are a little too scared of bears, as well as to those who are scared of the animals in the wild. It is also a great movie to show to children so that they can understand each others emotions, and find common ground. I also think this movie is good for parents to show to their children, as it gives insight into the life of a bear in the wild. Overall, I believe that this movie is a good choice for children. It also has a little bit of everything for everyone, and can be watched by everyone!*spoiler* There is a scene where Koda is playing on some people's lap and a bear comes along and tries to play with Koda, but Koda just runs and hides. This reminds me of everyone playing with Kenai when he was a little cub. I think we can all relate to this scene.
THE NARRATORFeaturing a great voice cast, this movie did not disappoint. It was witty and clever and the writers were obviously fans of Monty Python. I love the way the bear would do a funny line, then explode in laughter. I did find that the bear could get over-the-top in a way that was not all that believable, but it was still amusing.I give this movie 10 out of 10.
Our youngest, my brother, came up with the idea to make a little video, and asked us to try it. It was his first time, so my brother and I helped him with the project. The video's purpose was to get a message across to all the people out there, in middle and high school, about the dangers of bullying. 827ec27edc
