Medical providers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities are requested to report injuries using the HCFDA National Reporting System. The Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Primary Health Care provides instructions and training for healthcare facilities to use the HCFDA National Reporting System.
The supply of such medical devices as intravenous sets, catheters, and other sharps injuries sources is limited. As a result, sharps injuries are a predictable consequence of the need for invasive medical procedures.
Exposure to blood and body fluids can occur in a healthcare setting due to needle sticks, cuts or other injuries, or through needlesticks from contaminated sources, such as blood draws or syringes. A majority of needle stick injuries occur during the performance of a medical procedure when a worker is pricked by a contaminated needle. Needle stick injuries are a common cause of healthcare-associated infections.
SHARP data allow a healthcare facility to monitor their own compliance with workplace safety standards. Data from our national sharps injury database is available to participating health care facilities on a strictly confidential basis. We will not disclose individual medical facility data for any other use, nor will we share information with a third-party. Participation in the SHARP project is voluntary.
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
